In 1908, Norhtwood started producing carnival glass. Northwood carnival glass called their line Golden Iris and the earliest patterns were cable,cherry,waterlilly,cattails,and valentine. Most Northwood carnival glass is easy to itentify as it is marked with an "N" inside of a circle on the bottom of the glassware. Northwood is probably best known for the grape and cable patterns which were produced in many colors and over 60 different shapes. Northwood quit production of thier carnival glass in the 1920's and it remains one of the most sought after antique carnival glass today.Art Deco Lamps
